What happens when a jazz orchestra of Tony and Grammy-award winning Broadway musicians grows up on video game music? You get amazing original arrangements of your favorite video game themes that include stylistic mashups with classic jazz, funk, and show tunes. A recent triumph was this memed Yakuza song with a Ceiline Dion twist (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXvE3AUjYVU) or what if Undertale was played by a Klezmer band (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSMsSW8qw2Y)?

You do not need to enjoy both video games or jazz orchestras to enjoy this performance, which is technically masterful and entertaining in its own right. I've been going for several years. I'm planning on going to the early New York show (also 9:30pm), but there are other dates in Seattle (10/16), Philly (10/24) and Boston (12/12). Note Sony Hall is a jazz-style venue, so there is a food/drink minimum, but the food is pretty decent.
